AUGUST'S MEETING RECAP

Everyone was reminded that membership dues for the 2002-2003 season were due, and the membership list of those that have already paid was brought up to date.  Copies of the By-Laws were distributed.  Handouts were also distributed for the Texas Writers Roundup in Wimberly and Fort Worth Book and Paper Show.  The anthology was discussed.  After going over the bid from Tattersall, the project was tabled while further investigation was done into grant money.  Lastly, an announcement was made that the North Texas Book Fair would in Denton in 2003.

During the rest of the meeting, members brought several pages of their current project to read at the meeting.  Everyone had very interesting Works-In-Progress.   Among the pieces read were mysteries, time travels, life in a small town, life in a big town, and even a selection of poetry.
